In the absence list you select the absence reason code for all day absence that you want to synchronize to exchange.
The category list is a list of employee category so that you can include/exclude employees if they shall not have absence synchronized to exchange. An empty category list will select all categories.
The days back in time controls if you want to update absence in exchange if some changes happen to an absence. It is maybe not interesting to update an absence which occurred last week.
Include company calendar controls if updates to the company calendar should update exchange also.
After this has been setup the you should log of and on again to get the changes. Also the appservers should be stopped and started again.
