In connection with a clock-out the registration time is corrected to a point in time that will result in the day's accumulated normal time being equal to the normal time required in the day profile.

Normal time neutral/actual time: Works as \\\"Actual\\\" in connection with a clock-in or a late clock-out. Normal time neutral/actual time: Works as \\\"Actual\\\" in connection with a clock-in or a late clock-out. Works as \\\"Normal time neutral\\\" in connection with an early clock-out.

Normal time and work time: Only valid in connection with clock-in-late and clock-out-early (or with the fixed reasons when used that way).
This setting can be useful in connection with a clock-out-early reason for when an employee has been at work before the start of the day's normal time interval, and also has left before that time. The clock-out time in this situation is corrected to the end of the normal time interval so that the employee is compensated for the day's scheduled work as well as the extra earlier work time, but the time between the actual clock-out and the beginning of the normal time interval will NOT count as work time. Should the employee clock-in again later, and work during the normal time interval, that part of the day will not be counted twice.

If the option is selected, then the actual time of the employee's previous clock-out (where this reason was used) must be entered the next time the employee clocks-in. The clock-out registration is not considered complete until the then, and account postings are not made.

The entered time is used as the \\\"corrected time\\\" and the \\\"registration time\\\" is the time the clock-out registration was originally made.

Note that the employee is NOT prompted for a clock-out time if the next clock-in takes place in the employee's normal time interval for that same day. While the employee is clocked-out this way a receptionist (for instance) can still see that the employee isn't locally present.

Example:

The employee clocks-out with this reason to go to a meeting in town. The next time the employee clocks-in, a prompt is made for the time the meeting completed (the \\\"real\\\" clock-out time).
